
An artist all her life, Mary Lou Stropoli has been an Art Educator since 2000, teaching all levels of education, from elementary to adult education. She currently teaches full-time at Brother Rice High school in Bloomfield Hills. Mary Lou is primarily a painter, known locally for the mural on the Sunflour Bakehaus. She participates annually in Art on the Grand for the last 5+ years and serves on the Farmington DDA Public art Committee. An advocate for fostering creativity in all, she is a founding partner in Skep Space, a non-profit artist incubator in Downtown Farmington. Mary Lou earned her BFA from The University of Michigan, K-12 Teaching Certificate from Bloomfield College (NJ) and MA in Community Arts from Easter Illinois University.
